DOCUMENTATION FOR ROAD TRANSPORT TO LEBANON:
1. The documents needed for Customs clearance are:
• Original Invoice.
• Truck Consignment Note and/or Original CMR.
• Original Packing List in 2 copies.
• Two Original sets of documents should be issued:
..... *One to be sent directly to our address in Beirut.
......*The other one to accompany the driver.
2.When we talk about Road Transport, we should note that there are three main Customs Clearance Points:
• Masna'a Customs Point (Lebanese - Syrian Border) at Jdeidet Yabous.
• Abboudieh Customs Point (Lebanese - Syrian Border) at Dabousiyeh.
• El-A'areedah (Lebanese - Syrian Border).
3. The following terms and conditions should be considered, before proceeding with Customs Clearance:
• Terms of Delivery (FOT, EX-WORKS, CRF & CIF etc.).
• Truck number, Driver Name, and Nationality.
• CMR / Truck Consignment Note number for cargo coming from Europe.
• Full description of goods including gross - net weight, country of origin, name and address of consignee, number of packages and/or pallets.
